A dentist can help you keep a pretty smile and prevent gum disease by guiding you towards a more consistent daily dental brushing/flossing regiment.Lastly, but not least, don't smoke and limit your alcohol intake. Smoking is probably one of the worst things you can do for your body because the toxic chemicals in cigarette smoke triples your risk of getting lung cancer. You also risk developing very serious heart disease and breathing problems.When people are trying to make changes and be successful in following their dreams, they sometimes get overwhelmed looking at the entire road. This stops them in their tracks from even beginning to create products or whatever it is they want to accomplish.The truth is that most people will try something new for a few days, like a diet, a new way of thinking, a practice like meditation or a new exercise program. After a few days or a week when they haven't seen the results they desire, they begin to think "well, obviously, this doesn't work for me. It may work for other people, but not for me," and they stop trying altogether, which is why most people never see their dreams come true.It's a tragedy because it makes people stop before they truly even begin. It's been said it takes 21 days to turn something into a habit. Success and goal accomplishment is simply a habit, like most other behaviors.I know we've heard this before over and over again. If at first you don't succeed try try again. It sounds so simple but the harsh truth is most of us don't do it. We try it once and move on. I don't believe either that most of us succeed on our first tries. Let's examine together why that is and how to keep trying until we succeed at anything.
